- Nethra Kumanan: A trailblazer in Indian sailing, Nethra is the first Indian woman sailor to qualify directly for the Olympics. Her direct entry into the Paris 2024 Games marks a significant milestone in Indian sailing history. Previously, she has represented India at the 2014 and 2018 Asian Games, with a notable fourth-place finish in 2018. Her qualification for Tokyo 2020 was also a landmark achievement.
