Locally owned NetSoft College of Technology recently celebrated its 21st Anniversary
and Graduation ceremony with a lavish dinner and celebration. The event took place on
Saturday, June 21st, 2025, at the Capitol Banquet Centre in Mississauga, Ontario. The
celebration brought together over 300 students, supporters, clients, and staff for an
exciting evening, marking a significant milestone in the college's dedication to its
students and the community.
The core of the evening was the awards ceremony and convocation for the graduating
class. The beautiful setting, charming atmosphere, and impeccable service perfectly
complemented the evening's theme. Keynote speaker, MPP Sheref Sabawy, delivered
an inspirational address before assisting NetSoft’s founder, Tariq Azad, in conducting
the award ceremony. The graduates were called upon the stage individually, where they
were congratulated for their immense achievement and perseverance by both Azad and
the guest of honor. This segment highlighted the culmination of their hard work and
dedication to their studies.
During the ceremony, each member of the graduating class was felicitated for their
accomplishments. There were several categories of awards lined up all through the
evening. Several students went up to the podium to receive their honors well cheered
by their friends and family of well-wishers. They had the opportunity to meet and greet
with the distinguished guest of honor, MPP Sheref Sabawy as well as exchange words
with the guest of honor and NetSoft’s founder, Tariq Azad. The event was also attended
by other notable political figures such as MP Shafqat and MPP Deepak Anand, who
further congratulated the graduates on their accomplishments, dedication, and
knowledge in various IT fields, emphasizing the importance of their education.
Before dinner was served, Tariq Azad, CEO and founder of NetSoft College of
Technology, gave a motivating speech. He expressed his profound honor and
inspiration from having helped so many individuals. Azad spoke eloquently on the
tremendous growth he had witnessed in each of his students, underscoring their
transformation and success. He also briefly touched upon the vital importance of
nurturing one’s mental, spiritual, physical, and emotional well-being, providing a holistic
perspective on personal and professional development.
