The Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) is bringing back its much-loved Festival Street from September 10–13, transforming King Street West into a vibrant, free celebration of film, creativity and community. Expected to welcome nearly half a million visitors, the four-day experience will feature live music and DJs, outdoor movie screenings, public art installations, food trucks, an art market, family activities and opportunities to connect with filmmakers and community organizations.
Among the highlights are interactive installations including SLOW by filmmaker Naomi Jaye, Disco Speakers and TIFF’s exclusive Tree of Cinema. Cinema Park at David Pecaut Square will offer free outdoor screenings, while the Fellini Forever Educational Touring Museum will showcase rare artifacts and film materials celebrating legendary filmmaker Federico Fellini. The Festival Street Food Market will also return with local food vendors and new additions including Eataly, Fox on John and GRETA.
Adding to the excitement will be a host of partner activations, from red-carpet experiences and cultural showcases to food, fashion, travel and entertainment activities. With the TIFF Shop Pop-up, Toronto Animal Services, sports activations and the redesigned illuminated Festival Street sign, the downtown stretch promises to be a lively meeting place for film lovers and the wider community. TIFF 2026 runs September 10–20, with Festival Street serving as a spectacular public gateway to the festival.
