A major attraction for Canadian audiences will be the interactive Bigg Boss experience. Beginning September 6, viewers can watch Bigg Boss Tamil, Malayalam, Telugu, Kannada and Hindi, with LIVE voting across every edition and 24×7 LIVE Feeds. In another first, Bigg Boss Hindi with Salman Khan will be available to Canadian viewers seven days ahead of its television premiere.
The platform also introduces India Ka Top 1 Percent, hosted by Anil Kapoor, premiering September 5, while its personalised recommendations, multilingual subtitles and dubbing are designed to make content discovery easier for Canada’s multilingual audience.
JioHotstar is offering flexible subscription options in Canada, priced at CAD $19.99 quarterly or CAD $49.99 annually. Existing Hotstar subscribers can transition using their current credentials without service disruption, while new users can sign up through the App Store and Google Play Store on mobile and connected TV devices.
With its combination of extensive content, interactive features and technology-driven personalisation, JioHotstar’s Canadian debut marks a significant expansion of India’s streaming ecosystem and offers audiences across Canada a new way to connect with the stories, languages and entertainment they love.
