Set in the newly renovated Grand Ballroom, the gala event will blend the rich cultural heritage of Diwali with the elegance and grandeur synonymous with The Pierre. Inspired by the traditional aesthetics of Diwali, the Grand Ballroom will be transformed into a magical setting, illuminated by lanterns, oil lamps, and twinkling lights, creating a warm and enchanting ambiance.
Diwali, the Indian festival of lights, is a time for celebration, and The Pierre promises an evening that will transport guests into a world of luxury, traditional celebrations, and cultural immersion which will light up New York City. Along with dancing and traditional music, the evening will feature a culinary journey crafted by Executive Chef & Culinary Director Michael Mignano in collaboration with Junoon and Jazba, renowned NYC Indian restaurants.
Guests will be treated to a curated menu of the finest Indian flavors, offering an authentic and innovative gastronomic experience. The Grand Ballroom will host live food stations, where skilled chefs will prepare a variety of popular Indian street foods such as chaat, pav bhaji, dosas, and kebabs on the spot.
