Today Doug Ford, Premier of Ontario, issued the following statement to mark the Thanksgiving holiday:
“Today, people here in Ontario and across the country will come together for the Thanksgiving holiday. As the seasons change, this is a time to celebrate family and friends, give thanks and reflect upon our many blessings.
We have so much to be thankful for here in Ontario, from our beautiful landscapes and growing communities to our talented workers and innovative entrepreneurs. Ontario is truly the best place in the world to live, work and raise a family.
On this day, I also want to recognize and give thanks to our amazing health care workers, first responders, and our Canadian service members who go above and beyond, every day, to keep us safe and healthy.
From my family to yours, I wish you all a very happy Thanksgiving.”
