Bidrohini, an acclaimed Bengali Action Thriller is all set to premier on Eros Now on 21st July 2022. Bidrohini is the story of an IPS officer Kiran and her fight for justice for her younger sister Arunima. But when the truth unfolds, life takes a different turn when she must fight against her loved ones. Will Kiran succeed and will Arunima get justice?
Bidrohini, an edge-of-seat action drama is directed by Sandip Chowdhury, produced by Sandip Chowdhury and Gautam Mukherjee stars Rituparna Sengupta, Jeetu Kamal, Bidisha Chowdhury, Sonali Chowdhury, Phalguni Mukherjee Anindo Sarkar, Santana Basu, Arunima Sen, Soma Chakraborty and Parthasarathi Deb in pivotal roles.
Elaborating on the film, director and producer Sandip Chowdhury says, “Bidrohini is an unusual story of an IPS officer and her fight for justice for her own sister when she finds out the real culprits behind the crime. The subject is very close to my heart, and I am glad that it turned out to by my directorial debut. I am thankful to my entire unit who helped me realize my dream. With a release on Eros Now, Bidrohini will reach a global audience and I hope they will show as much love and appreciation as the local audiences have shown.’’
