Thrillers are always a difficult genre to crack and keeping the audiences engaged and glued to their seats is an art. Mili starring Janhvi Kapoor, Sunny Kaushal and Manoj Pahwa in prominent roles, is helmed by National Award Winner Mathukutty Xavier and marks the first ever collaboration of Boney Kapoor with his daughter Janhvi, as a producer. It has all the trappings of a nail-biting thriller and showcases Janhvi in a never seen before avatar. After amazing the audiences and fans with her riveting performances in films like Good Luck Jerry and Gunjan Saxena, Janhvi has proved her versatility and growth as an actor.
Mili’s music is backed by the musical maestro A.R. Rahman, who has won several awards. The lyrics have been penned by the legendary Javed Akhtar, who called the movie absolutely riveting at the trailer launch. It’s evident that Mili will include chartbusting music that will definitely create ripples. Mili also had one of the most unique and one of a kind trailer launch events – that no one could have envisoned! With such a solid trailer, Janhvi’s fans await the release with bated breath and Mili looks like it will make a splash in the Bollywood Thriller genre.
Talking about the Mili’s trailer launch, Janhvi said “Mili has been one of the most challenging roles of my career and I’m very excited! I’m grateful to Mathukutty sir, who brought out the very best in me on screen. We shot in -10 degrees and fell ill but it was all so gratifying. I just want to make my parents proud.”

Produced by Zee Studios, Boney Kapoor and directed by Mathukutty Xavier, Mili’ is scheduled to release in cinemas on 4th November 2022. It looks so gripping that people probably won’t breathe till it ends.
