A Sacred Milestone at Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Mandir
As Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Mandir marks the second anniversary of Pratishtha Dwadashi, the sacred site prepares to welcome devotees into a five-day celebration steeped in devotion, reflection, and cultural expression. The festival stands not only as a commemoration of a historic spiritual moment, but also as a living reminder of Lord Ram’s enduring presence in the hearts of millions.
The programme unfolds through a series of time-honoured rituals and gatherings, beginning with the ceremonial Abhishek of Prabhu Shri Ram, followed by Mandal Puja—each offering devotees an opportunity to engage in collective prayer and reverence. These sacred observances form the spiritual core of the celebrations, anchoring the festival in tradition and faith.
Complementing the rituals are narrative and artistic expressions that bring the values of the Ramayana to life. Shri Ram Katha sessions will recount the timeless story of dharma, compassion, and duty, while Bhajan Sandhya fills the temple precincts with devotional music. Adding a literary dimension, the Kavi Sammelan will gather poets and thinkers who reflect on Lord Ram’s legacy through verse and dialogue.
Together, these five days of prayer, storytelling, music, and poetry transform the anniversary into a collective spiritual journey—one that bridges ritual with reflection, and tradition with contemporary devotion. As devotees gather to observe Pratishtha Dwadashi, the celebrations reaffirm the temple’s role not only as a place of worship, but as a vibrant centre of India’s spiritual and cultural life.
