🛹 JACKALOPE Action Sports Festival Returns to Mississauga

Mississauga is once again set to become a high-octane hub of thrill and culture as the JACKALOPE Action Sports Festival returns to Celebration Square from July 11–13. In partnership with TRIBU and Visit Mississauga, this three-day, free event promises heart-pounding action, community vibes, and world-class performances across skateboarding (vert and street), BMX, base jumping, motocross, bouldering, breaking battles, and roller skating.

Back for its second year, the festival boasts 500+ elite athletes competing for over $70,000 in prizes, alongside live music, food vendors, gear pop-ups, and hands-on try-it zones. Adults can unwind in the on-site beer garden, while families enjoy interactive demos and meet-and-greets with action sports legends.

One of the highlights: the debut of Golden Ticket Winners, emerging global stars handpicked through an international digital contest. These rising talents from Japan, Colombia, the U.S., Austria, the Philippines, and Peru will represent their countries and compete on Canadian soil. Skateboarding icon Bob Burnquist and Ontario’s own Aunty Skates will also be on hand, adding star power and inclusive programming for first-time skaters.

Created in Montréal in 2012, JACKALOPE has grown into Canada’s flagship action sports showcase—launching careers and spotlighting disciplines now celebrated on Olympic stages.
